The brief

RAHA serves a Malay-speaking community in Singapore: a nightly Al-Mulk recitation session, classes, seasonal bookings and a small range of books and fragrances. The ask was one site, in Malay from the first word, that handles all of it without a payment gateway or a developer on call.

We built the site with services and bookings that ping the owner on Telegram, a bot that issues PDF invoices, an online shop on kedai.raha.sg with a cart, pickup or delivery and discount codes, donation tiers with one QR per amount, a nightly live-class link found or created through the Zoom API, Singapore prayer times from an uploaded timetable, and a free PDF library. Hero, services, FAQs, videos and reciters are edited in the admin.

What had to be solved

  • Malay from the first word

Navigation, services, FAQs and the shop are written in Malay, not translated after. The admin lets the team edit the hero, services, FAQs, videos and reciters themselves.

  • Donations and orders without a gateway

Donation tiers show one QR per amount, uploaded by the admin, so a donation is paid straight to the bank with no gateway cut. Shop orders finish by email and chat, with discount codes for percentage, fixed or free-delivery promos.

  • A booking that pings the owner

A seasonal booking is saved, the owner is notified on Telegram, and a bot menu generates a PDF invoice per order.

  • Tonight's session, today's prayer times

The nightly Zoom session is found or created through the API and its join link is shown on the site. An uploaded timetable feeds the public prayer-times strip for Singapore.

What we built

  • Malay-language site: services, bookings, FAQ, videos, library
  • Online shop on its own subdomain with cart and discount codes
  • Donation QR tiers, paid straight to the bank
  • Seasonal bookings with Telegram alerts and PDF invoices
  • Nightly live-class link through the Zoom API
  • Singapore prayer times from an uploaded timetable
